{"h3>About Our Cost Consultancy Graduate Role\/h3>

We're seeking a talented and ambitious graduate to join our Consult engine, where innovation and sustainability take the lead. As a Cost Consultancy Graduate, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients with cost management services from inception to completion for ongoing and new commissions.



Key Responsibilities\/h3>

  • Assist with feasibility studies, procurement strategies, and contract selection, and produce procurement reports\/li>
  • Apply value management techniques at the outset of a project\/li>
  • Provide guidance on estimating and cost planning activities\/li>
  • Support the procurement process, ensuring all stages are performed effectively\/li>
  • Prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses\/li>
  • Measure and provide valuations of work carried out and adjust variations in accordance with the terms of the contract and agreement with the contractor\/li>
  • Assist with cost control and reporting services during the contract\/li>
  • Identify costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges\/li>
  • Participate in the evaluation of claims for delay and additional costs made by the contractor and any nominated subcontractors\/suppliers\/li>
  • Support the issue of 'Certificate of Making Good Defects' and final completion in accordance with any requirements relating to completion, submissions, and approvals\/li>



About You\/h3>

We're looking for a future or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree or higher in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent). You'll be a curious and collaborative individual who values safety, client focus, create opportunity, and integrity. You'll also be a strong communicator and team player who can build effective teams, embrace change, solve problems, and build trusted relationships.
