SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to provide learning support for children identified with SEN in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students, ensuring their educational and social development.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of individual learning activities.
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher to monitor the student's progress.
  • Implement strategies to support the student's learning and engagement.
  • Facilitate a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Adapt to the student's needs and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in KS2.
  • Experience working with children with SEN and SEMH.
  • Experience working with ADHD & ASD.
  • TA2/TA3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in providing support within an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards student development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices.
