About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Fawkes & Reece South. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with tendering and procurement processes to ensure the best value outcome for our clients.
  • Provide administrative support to the site commercial team, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Contribute to the management of project risks and opportunities, utilizing your knowledge and experience to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate costs estimates and financial reports to inform project decisions.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or a comparable qualification.
  • Strong understanding of achieving the best value outcome and ability to utilize past knowledge and experience to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
  • Basic ability to read construction and pre-construction programs.
  • Sufficient commercial acumen to make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with and ability to use MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports.
