About the Role
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team based in Whitchurch. This practice supports a range of small to medium-sized businesses across various industries, including retailers, manufacturers, and commercial services, encompassing sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Your New Role
As an Accounts Manager, you will join a highly skilled and supportive team. Your day-to-day duties will cover accounts preparation for a range of clients from sole traders and partnerships, as well as limited companies. You will lead and support the team with completing personal tax returns, VAT returns, and bookkeeping, working with multiple software, such as Sage and QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and provide excellent service
- Support clients and assist with any questions or queries
- Lead and support the team with accounts preparation and bookkeeping
- Work with multiple software, including Sage and QuickBooks
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in accounts in a practice environment, working with a range of clients from differing industries, as well as experience working with software, specifically Sage and QuickBooks. This candidate will ideally be ACCA/ACA qualified or have equivalent experience. Organisational skills and the ability to manage your time independently will make you an excellent candidate for this role.
What We Offer
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000 dependent on experience. You will have access to a competitive firm-wide benefits package, including study support options, holidays, pension contributions, and free onsite parking.
