About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Category and Procurement Manager to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing strategies for IT within the UK and EMEA regions, with potential opportunities for global scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive procurement excellence
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver procurement projects and initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Drive cost savings and process improvements through procurement best practices
  • Represent the procurement team in business meetings and negotiations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in IT procurement, including software, services, and hardware agreements
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Project management experience, including cross-functional team management
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of total cost of operation and supplier relationship management
