About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sub Agent to join our team at Danny Sullivan Group Ltd. As a Sub Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Supervision: Lead the engineering and site supervision team on a particular section of the project, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Engineering Control: Manage, supervise, and mentor site engineers to ensure high levels of engineering control and generation of appropriate records.
  • Commercial Management: Support the Agent in operating the cost management system and the production of programs, ensuring that all records for measurement and payment purposes are prepared promptly and in appropriate form.
  • Labour and Materials Management: Liaise with the Agent to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary work design schemes, ensuring timely delivery of required materials.
  • Contractual Compliance: Advise the Agent of any potential commercial or contractual liabilities, ensuring that all obligations are met.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors to ensure delivery of the required service and compliance with company policies.
  • Communication: Promote company values in all dealings with other employees, clients, subcontractors, and other external contacts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience: Successful experience at section engineering level (on site) including civil and services, with demonstrated application of growing commercial and contractual knowledge.
  • Skills: Good people management experience, experience in managing subcontractors, CSCS card, and flexibility.
  • Desirable Skills: Airport experience/critical areas experience, experience working with a large tier 1 contractor, experience in stakeholders management, and membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers or equivalent.
