The Senior Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations across multiple departments within Skanska. Key responsibilities include budget management, cost control, financial analysis, and ensuring robust financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a central finance team of three, delivering high-quality financial business partnering services.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance timely and accurate financial reporting for central enabling functions.
  • Collaborate with finance teams in the Operating units to lead S&A reporting for the Business Unit.
  • Ensure all financial reporting obligations are met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Oversee the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for central enabling functions.
  • Manage the central recharging process, focusing on transparency and simplification.
  • Apply appropriate financial governance across central enabling functions, adhering to Skanska Finance Policies & Procedures while maintaining high internal control standards.
  • Continuously enhance processes and reporting to mitigate risks and promote efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating their development and conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller with various ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in line management.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and HFM systems.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical self-starter with a proactive mindset.
  • Strong commercial awareness and acumen.
