We are seeking a skilled Hot Tub Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa in Axbridge, Somerset. This is a permanent part-time position, requiring 16 hours of work across two days, Monday and Friday.
Shift times will be 9am - 17:30pm or 10am - 18:30pm, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the business.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of all hot tubs on changeover days.
- Ensuring the retreat is kept clear and free of debris.
- Responding to maintenance requests from guests on site.
- Assisting with renovation projects and attending planned daily maintenance tasks.
- Completing necessary paperwork following repairs and maintenance.
- Assisting the grounds team to maintain the appearance of the retreat to its five-star standard.
- Assisting with grass cutting and strimming, edging, and weeding borders, as well as clearing pathways.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous maintenance or grounds experience.
- A positive work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- A driving license and the ability to drive, essential for this role due to the use of site buggies/vehicles.
