Location: Within the community or pupils' home

About the Role:

We are seeking an inspirational and engaging SEN Tutor to provide 1 to 1 support to students with SEN requirements in the Oldham Area. As a SEN Tutor, you will work with students who may not have thrived in a traditional school setting, and help them achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1 to 1 support to students with SEN requirements
  • Develop and deliver learning plans tailored to individual students' needs
  • Use a therapeutic approach to re-engage students with their learning
  • Help students develop structure in their daily routine and continue their educational development

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references
