We are seeking a highly skilled Creative Arts Therapist to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care. As a Creative Arts Therapist, you will work with neurodiverse learners and those who have experienced trauma, providing individual and group therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy sessions to learners with neurodiverse needs, using a trauma-informed approach.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapists and other Creative Arts Therapists.
  • Train and mentor education colleagues on best practice and effective ways to support learners.
  • Administer records and perform administrative tasks.
  • Attend regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the therapy team.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, or Drama Therapy, with HCPC registration.
  • Experience working as a Creative Arts Therapist, preferably in a neurodiverse setting.
  • Ability to run supervisions and offer training and support to other therapists.
  • Good IT skills, with experience using Microsoft packages.
  • Full driving license, with willingness to travel to other sites.
