About the RoleThis is a part-time (0.5 wte) permanent post, requiring the successful candidate to work shifts covering evenings and weekends. You will be responsible for seeing, assessing, and treating patients attending acute services, primarily in the Emergency Department. This will involve delivering a range of nursing and psychosocial interventions to individual patients and their families, as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with complex mental health needs
- Deliver high-quality care and support to patients and their families
- Work collaboratively with general hospital colleagues to make decisions about treatment and care
- Consult, liaison, and teach general hospital staff at all levels
