About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at Bosworth Independent School, a leading provider of pre-university academic courses and English language courses in the UK. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a five-star catering service to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Contribute to the cleaning and maintenance of the canteen and kitchen areas, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Support the delivery of food and supplies, ensuring efficient and timely service.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to promote a positive and inclusive dining experience for students and staff.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide general support and cover across the organization as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
