ROLE OVERVIEW
Our Network Control team is looking for a Telemetry Control Technician to join us on a permanent basis at our head office.
In this role, you will oversee the operational management and control of our assets and services related to Waste Management. This position requires shift work, including weekends and bank holidays, to ensure seamless service delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and respond to telemetry alarms using the company's eSCADA system.
- Address asset failures or issues within the wastewater system, providing incident support as needed.
- Proactively manage the network through effective alarm management and telemetry oversight.
- Notify Customer Contact teams of any asset failures that may impact customers, ensuring timely resolutions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
To excel in this position, you should have experience working in a fast-paced, reactive environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
Experience in influencing and communicating effectively at all levels is essential for building collaborative relationships.
Familiarity with hydraulic operations of sewerage and distribution networks or exposure to wastewater processes in treatment facilities is advantageous.
