Forklift Operative Job Opportunity

Aviation Recruitment Network - Heathrow is seeking an experienced Forklift Operative to join their team in Colnbrook, Slough. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in cargo handling and a strong understanding of working with X-ray screening machines.

This is a fixed shift pattern role with a salary of £28k - £32k. The successful candidate will receive full training, incentives upon completion of probation, and opportunities for progression within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Palletizing goods
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures in areas such as health and safety, dangerous goods, aviation security, temperature-controlled freight, and high-value freight
  • Prioritizing incident prevention and reporting any incidents or potential hazards immediately

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a busy manual environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with all levels
  • 6 months' experience as a Forklift Operative
  • Logical and systematic thinking to solve problems
  • Ability to work flexibly and deal with problems immediately
