Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team at People Solutions Group Limited in Kettering. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, working closely with our management team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and dispatch goods as required, adhering to our high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Load and unload customer goods safely and securely, meeting our warehouse targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Pick goods from stock for our store customers, meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Count and reconcile stock, identifying any discrepancies and taking corrective action.
  • Kimball and re-bag stock as required to ensure it remains in good condition.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer care, responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure customer goods are handled carefully and correctly, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other relevant duties as directed by management to ensure the effective performance of the warehouse operation.
Requirements:
  • You must have your own transport due to the location of the site.
  • Punctuality and good time-keeping skills are essential.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is required.
  • You must be able to speak and read a certain level of English to follow instructions and be safe on site.
  • Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • This is a physically demanding role, requiring you to lift and carry items up to 25kg.
  • You must pass a Drug & Alcohol Test and a basic English & Numeracy Test.
  • You must have the Right to Work in the UK and be able to prove this.
