Management Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Resourcery Group. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a crucial role in providing financial support to our £100m t/o manufacturing client in Cheshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and rolling forecasts.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct cost analysis reviews across all areas of the business, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to increase efficiency.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the production of the monthly board report with the Financial Controller, and prepare strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts with major cost owners within the business.
  • Financial Operations: Assist with daily cash updates, reconcile company bank accounts, and prepare quarterly VAT returns for review.
  • Financial Processes: Develop and review current processes to improve efficiency, and conduct credit checks on potential new customers to mitigate business risks.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in producing management accounts within a finance function.
  • Qualified/Part Qualified -ACCA/CIMA.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential.
