At Oxford Biomedica, we're seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement routine preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.
  • Collaborate with external engineering resources to address specialist repairs and maintenance of assets.
  • Conduct regulatory routine monitoring, including Legionella tap temperatures.
  • Evaluate asset performance against established criteria and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare quality documentation for critical failures and escalate events impacting engineering assets.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
  • An apprenticeship within a relevant discipline, NVQ 3 Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proven experience within an engineering maintenance function.
  • Experience within a GxP Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry is preferred.
  • Good computer literacy skills with experience of Microsoft Office suite software.
  • Experience in regulatory/statutory regulations.
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety within an Engineering environment.
