CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a proficient Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our esteemed client on a permanent basis, a prominent provider in facility management solutions, delivering exceptional services across diverse sectors.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical maintenance within commercial environments, as they will be tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

This is a mobile role, covering Tyne & Wear, County Durham & Teesside.

**Compensation Package:**
  • Competitive salary up to £38,500 per annum (based on experience)
  • Company van & fuel card provided
  • Standard working hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
  • Participation in an 'out of hours' on-call rota (details to be confirmed)
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and enhance the lifespan of electrical equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment
**Qualifications:**
  • Qualified to at least City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management sector
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
  • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
