The European Strategy Consulting division is an integral part of IQVIA's Global Consulting Services. This team is dedicated to collaborating with clients to facilitate informed decisions in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, focusing on enhancing their commercial value and fostering partnerships that optimize their return on investment. Role & Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate at IQVIA, your responsibilities will include managing or leading several consulting projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery for clients in the pharmaceutical or related sectors by:
- Overseeing project teams, which may include both internal and external resources, in the design, development, and delivery of client outputs.
- Utilizing your business insight and experience to identify strategic options and project methodologies to address client inquiries.
- Acting as the primary liaison with clients.
- Following up with clients post-project completion to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintaining clear communication throughout project phases and within the team.
- Contributing to the development of intellectual property for future projects.
- Managing the proposal preparation process, ensuring overall bid integrity.
- Identifying new business opportunities and follow-on work.
- Expanding your knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through hands-on experience and training.
- Providing guidance, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and project teams, actively participating in team meetings.
- Contributing high-level insights to client reports and presentations, delivering significant findings to clients.
- Sharing expertise with colleagues to enhance our ability to provide exceptional solutions.
- Leading initiatives related to critical personnel issues, such as recruitment and professional development.
- Mentoring 3-4 junior staff members.
About You
Ideal candidates for the Senior Associate position should possess:
- Typically, 5-8 years of professional experience in Value & Access strategy consulting within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare sectors, demonstrating career advancement.
- Experience in Pricing/Contracting, Market Access, or Evidence strategy.
- Strong analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to the life sciences and/or healthcare industries.
- At least 2-3 years of project management or leadership experience focused on multinational strategic consulting projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in presentations, meeting facilitation, and report writing.
- Proven ability to manage large and/or multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- Experience working in sizable, multi-disciplinary teams and leading staff.
- A track record of building credible relationships with senior managers and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sectors.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve team objectives.
- Capability to contribute to business development through lead identification and proposal development.
- Awareness of key issues and current trends in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
- Familiarity with consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Additionally, an ideal Senior Associate should have:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent; a graduate degree or MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A proven history of leadership and talent development.
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Authorization to live and work in the recruiting country.
