Plant Maintenance Engineer (Diesel Generators)

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a background in working with Diesel Engines and generators looking for a Monday to Friday, days-based position? This role offers training and progression up to an Area Manager position within a leading renewable energy company.

As the go-to Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will:

  • Conduct a wide range of maintenance and assembly on a variety of heavy plant equipment, including diesel engines, forklifts, HGVs, and much more.
  • Work Monday to Friday with flexible hours, predominantly at the Leicester site and occasionally at the Walleys, Cotesbach, and Lutterworth sites.
  • Have plenty of optional overtime paid at time and a third.

This role would suit a Plant Maintenance Engineer with hands-on experience in Diesel Generators and a background in plant/heavy industry, looking for the opportunity to progress to a Senior role and forge a successful career within one of the largest renewable energy companies in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and fault finding on a variety of Diesel generators and plant equipment
  • Inspecting the maintenance and operation of gas systems
