Job Description

About the Role

Sunamp is a leading manufacturer of heat batteries that use phase change materials to provide heat and hot water. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems for our heat batteries, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical design with other product components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
  • Conduct testing and analysis to ensure electrical systems meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our products and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electrical design and product development, preferably in the renewable energy or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, heat transfer, and thermal properties of materials.
  • Experience with design software, such as CAD or PCB design tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
