Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Controller to oversee the effective management of our fleet maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance, with experience in managing authorisation requests, controlling downtime, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage authorisation requests, validating work necessity and applying correct pricing and labour times
  • Engage with customers to determine cost-effective solutions and update them on work progress
  • Control downtime effectively, conduct quality work progression activity, and update systems accurately
Requirements
  • Technical vehicle-related qualifications, such as City & Guilds or equivalent
  • Detailed knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics, preferably extending to HGV or LCV vehicles
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel)
  • Previous experience in a hands-on workshop role is beneficial
