Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Deli Slicer to join our team at Boar's Head Brand in Monroe, OH. As a Deli Slicer, you will be responsible for processing and packaging deli products, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and package deli products, including slicing, packing, and labeling
- Conduct quality assurance checks on raw and finished materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in inventory control and restocking of deli products
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of experience in a related field, preferably in food processing or manufacturing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production demands and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position, working an 8-12 hour shift, including weekends and overtime as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a climate-controlled environment, with temperatures ranging from 32-38 degrees.
