Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the tax partner to provide VAT compliance and advisory services to clients, focusing on financial services and corporate finance.
  • Liaise with clients regarding all VAT matters and be their point of contact, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Follow up on live VAT leads and take responsibility for growing and developing the workload and overall team, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Consult on VAT queries and provide expert advice to clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws.

Requirements

  • Strong VAT background with experience working in a similar role within a practice environment, preferably in a financial services or corporate finance setting.
  • Experience of managing people and willingness to get involved in business development, driving growth and expansion.
  • Desire to work in an accountancy firm, with a focus on financial services and corporate finance.
