Production Operative Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and driven Production Operative to join our team at CastleView Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading goods from trucks and containers
  • Operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory and track orders
  • Picking and packing orders for customers and B&Q stores
  • Assisting with stock control and inventory management
  • Participating in a wide range of warehouse functions, including inbound, outbound, and stock control
  • Performing lifting, wrapping, and hygiene duties as required
  • Adhering to all safe systems of work and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
  • Desirable: FLT licenses, but training can be provided
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Shifts: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, with a night shift premium of £14.19 per hour from 8pm-10pm.
