Job Overview

A skilled Microwave Test Engineer is sought by a leading wireless technology firm to engage in testing and troubleshooting at the component level. This role requires on-site presence in a laboratory environment due to specialized equipment. The contractor must possess a solid understanding of RF principles to effectively diagnose and resolve issues. This position is structured as a contract role.

Primary Duties

  • Comprehensive knowledge of RF circuitry design and operation (Hz to 7.2GHz).
  • Perform RF PCB repairs, including fault diagnosis utilizing test instruments such as Spectrum Analyzers and Signal Generators.
  • Conduct testing on products or sub-assemblies.
  • Identify and replicate issues, rectify confirmed hardware malfunctions by replacing defective components, and ensure resolution of the issues.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
