A leading Automotive supply company in Surrey is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovation site. The contract is OUTSDE IR35, and the projects are expected to last 3-6 months, with potential for extension.

About the Company

X4 Technology is a small and specialized company creating next-generation Electric Vehicles. They specialize in electrification and renewable solutions for Automotive OEMs and manufacturers.

Job Responsibilities
-------------------

The successful candidate will be part of a team of Mechanical Engineers, working on-site 3 days a week. The role involves joining a team of experts in automotive projects, requiring previous experience with electric vehicles, automotive, or renewables. Key skills include:

* 5+ years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, preferably in the automotive/EV or equivalent industry
* Expertise in Solidworks and Onshape
* Full lifecycle product design, assemblies, and testing
