Job Title: Charge Nurse (RMN)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

About the Role:

As a Charge Nurse (RMN), you will be responsible for supporting the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the mental health act who have a diagnosis of mental health, personality disorder, and/or learning disability needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the mental health act
  • Provide clinical and leadership experience to support the wider nursing team
  • Deputise in the absence of the ward manager
  • Work in a forensic hospital providing a secure environment for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorders
Requirements:
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
  • Clinical and leadership experience that provides the expertise and confidence required to support the wider nursing team
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 2 years of Mental Health experience as a nurse in the UK
