Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team at First Call Contract Services. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the effective running of your area, ensuring a safe working environment, and driving productivity and quality targets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example, working in accordance with product specifications, company standards, and procedures regarding safety, hygiene, quality, quantity, and cost.
  • Drive KPIs for your area of responsibility, challenging and motivating the team to deliver consistent results.
  • Monitor product quality, reject unsuitable products, and minimize waste while ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate ordering of materials, packaging, and products.
  • Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance line efficiencies.
  • Take accountability for employee training, ensuring they are skilled in their roles and have been signed off against relevant procedures.
  • Complete daily checks and tasks, including CCPs, Defacto, and Redzone.
  • Maximize yield by assessing product quality and ensuring compliance with product specifications.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork for all relevant tasks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, hygiene, quality, and safety.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a FMCG environment with proven leadership and management experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and persuade at all levels.
  • Basic IT skills and knowledge of GMP, HACCP, hygiene standards, and health and safety standards.
  • Allergen awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
