Job Description

Galago, a leading driving and logistic recruitment firm, is partnering with various freight, logistics, and transport companies in Cardiff and surrounding areas to offer HGV Class 1 Driver positions. We are seeking experienced drivers for ad-hoc and on-going contracted bookings.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive HGV Class 1 trucks to transport goods to designated locations
  • Follow safety procedures when loading and unloading cargo
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips
  • Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure compliance with road regulations
  • Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and follow routes as planned
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the UK
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
  • Digital tachograph card
