Senior Test Engineer Opportunity

IC Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join their growing team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, manufacture, testing, and commissioning of board and system-level test equipment for cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Commission Test Equipment: Develop and implement test equipment designs, ensuring they meet the required specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Generate Test Specifications and Data Packs: Create comprehensive test specifications and manufacturing data packs for test equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop Tools and Techniques: Enhance test equipment design by developing innovative tools, methods, and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Team: Work closely with the engineering team to develop a design-for-test (DFT) strategy for new products, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain relevant test documentation and certifications, ensuring all technical compliance and regulatory standards are met.
  • Coordinate External Testing: Manage external laboratory testing to ensure products meet all regulatory approvals.
  • Provide Guidance: Offer guidance to engineers on regulatory compliance during product development, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a test and regulatory compliance engineer in an industrial environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in microcontrollers, FPGA, CPLD, mixed analog and digital circuit designs, ADC, and DAC, as well as familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, CAN Bus, I2C, SPI, and USB.
  • Software Design: Practical experience in software design for test equipment, including scripting languages, C and C++, and in-circuit debugging (ICD).
  • Strong Debugging Skills: Ability to integrate and validate electronics and system designs, with a strong focus on debugging and problem-solving.
