Job Summary:

NHS Fife is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our Neuro Rehabilitation team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical care to patients with complex neurological needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the in-patient Occupational Therapy team and be responsible for staff development and quality improvement.
  • Provide highly expert, direct clinical care, including specialist occupational therapy assessment, intervention, and management of patients with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote patient independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy is essential.
  • Relevant specialist training in neurological rehabilitation is advantageous.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
