Job Summary:
NHS Fife is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our Neuro Rehabilitation team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical care to patients with complex neurological needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the in-patient Occupational Therapy team and be responsible for staff development and quality improvement.
- Provide highly expert, direct clinical care, including specialist occupational therapy assessment, intervention, and management of patients with complex needs.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote patient independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy is essential.
- Relevant specialist training in neurological rehabilitation is advantageous.
- Proven leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
