Job Title: Biomedical Scientist - Histopathology Laboratory Expert

Job Summary:

Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist with a background in Histopathology to join a busy NHS hospital based in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of UK experience within a Histopathology laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform histopathology laboratory duties, including cutting and processing tissue samples
  • Conduct quality control checks on laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and accurate test results
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry advancements

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current HCPC registration
  • IBMS accredited degree
  • At least 6 months of UK experience in a Histopathology laboratory
  • Ability to cut 25+ quality sections per hour
