Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Cyber Security Manager to join our team at Admiral Slots - Luxury Leisure. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive cyber security strategies to protect our data and infrastructure from various cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust cyber security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks and threats.
  • Collaborate with our IT support team to provide security-related guidance and support, ensuring the effective implementation of security technologies and protocols.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for all employees, focusing on phishing simulations, threat awareness, and best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging cyber security trends and technologies, and collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure the effective implementation of security solutions.
  • Develop and enforce patch management policies, ensuring timely updates of all software and hardware, and establishing protocols for quickly addressing failures in the patch deployment process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree in a related field would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience in IT security and support, with a focus on cyber security strategy and planning, including experience with Microsoft Intune.
  • Recognised cyber security qualification (such as CISSP, CISM) is desired but not essential.
  • Solid understanding of the cyber security risk landscape, including the types of threats, threat actors, and threat scenarios.
  • Proficient knowledge of IT systems, networks, operating systems, and security software.
  • Excellent knowledge of cyber security protocols and data protection regulations.
