Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate cost forecasts. Implement cost control measures to prevent overruns.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop risk management strategies to ensure project success.
  • Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for project performance evaluation. Provide regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Evaluate and manage project changes, including scope changes, schedule adjustments, and cost impact assessments via the Early Warning Register.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with resource managers to ensure the availability of personnel and equipment as per project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that projects adhere to quality standards and specifications.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project.
  • Software and Tools: Utilize project management and control software/tools for data analysis and reporting, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years' experience in project controls within the construction industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6, knowledge of other project management software and tools, and strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Desirable: Master's degree in Project Management or a related field, professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP, CCP), and familiarity with subsea cable construction projects.
