About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for leading software development from concept to implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee software requirements, focusing on fault management and application health.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, and assist customers with integration and problem resolution, sometimes on-site.
- Understand customer needs to inform project requirements, working closely with the Project Manager and Quality Assurance team to identify risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Ensure key developments are communicated to the engineering team and provide technical input to support project planning and reviews.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading technical software projects.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles.
- Skilled in embedded software design with a solid grasp of related hardware.
- Proficient in writing C/C++ for embedded applications.
- Expertise in designing and developing control systems, with a preference for motor control principles, theory, and interfaces.
Security Clearance: Due to security clearance requirements, this role is only available to individuals with British citizenship or dual nationality with British citizenship.
