Job Overview
Birtenshaw is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Manager to join our team in Adult Supported Tenancies. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to disabled young adults in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the service complies with and follows the quality statements as set out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Manage and supervise staff at designated supported tenancies locations.
- Promote the welfare of vulnerable adults in supported tenancies to ensure they are protected from harm.
- Ensure and demonstrate compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies in the designated services.
- Provide a responsive service using appropriate methods of assessment and intervention within relevant statutory and company requirements.
- Develop the skills required to manage Adult Services, including up-to-date knowledge about relevant legislation, national policy, and procedures.
- Develop skills and knowledge to meet the leadership and management competency framework required by external regulation.
