About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Relief Care Assistant to join our team at Jamie Cann House in Ipswich. As a Relief Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling our customers to maintain their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to our customers
  • Administer and store medication as required
  • Conduct light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Support customers through temporary or terminal illness
  • Assist with eating and drinking, as well as light domestic duties such as bed making
  • Engage customers in social, physical activities, and mental stimulation, such as hobbies and recreation
