We are seeking a compassionate individual to join our diverse charitable organization.In this role, you will offer support and empowerment to clients with learning disabilities and complex needs within their own residences in the Leeds area. This includes promoting independence, encouraging clients to engage in social and recreational activities, and assisting them in maximizing their quality of life.
Comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate; however, if you possess knowledge of challenging behavior, Autism, and/or experience in complex support, your expertise would be highly valued as we have clients requiring specialized care and assistance.
Your responsibilities will encompass providing both practical and emotional support, aiding with household tasks, shopping, budgeting, and accompanying clients to leisure and educational activities. Personal care duties, such as assisting clients with bathing, will also be part of your role. You will primarily work on a one-to-one basis with clients.

You will possess a caring, confident, and well-organized demeanor, with the ability to adapt swiftly to varying situations, as each day presents unique challenges. Experience in a care environment is desirable but not essential. A proven history of teamwork and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
