Job Summary: Varnom Ross is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Enforcement Manager to join our team on an interim basis. As the most senior member of the Enforcement team, you will be responsible for leading the entire Enforcement department, handling complex cases, and representing the company at hearings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate alleged breaches of unlawful development and take formal action as necessary.
- Effectively manage the Enforcement process from start to finish.
- Lead the Enforcement team and provide guidance and support to junior staff members.
- Represent the company at hearings and provide expert testimony.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Enforcement outcomes.
Requirements:
- Highly experienced Planning Enforcement professional with a strong track record of success.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering results.
