We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Economics to join our team at Wellington College. As a leading co-educational boarding and day school, we offer a unique and stimulating environment for our pupils to thrive.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Economics to students across the full age range, from year 9 to year 13. They will also be expected to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the Department and wider College through sharing resources, good practice, and collaborative teaching.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching a standard timetable allocation of 36 lessons per week
- Contributing to the extra-curricular life of the Department, including off-timetable workshops and extension programs
- Making a positive contribution to the efficient running of the Department, including setting and marking examinations
We are looking for a candidate with a good level degree in Economics or a related subject, as well as a recognized teaching qualification. Experience of teaching at A/IB level and involvement in extra-curricular activities are desirable.
