About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Professional to join our team at AFH Wealth Management. As a Desk Based Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing ongoing service reviews to our existing clients, ensuring that we deliver positive outcomes and fair value for our ongoing service clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth annual reviews of clients' financial circumstances, identifying future aims, objectives, and new business opportunities.
  • Ensure that client files and ongoing service opportunities are up to date and adhere to regulatory and organisational standards for compliance and T&C.
  • Analyse existing client information, conducting research and completing required paperwork to evidence ongoing service reviews.
  • Meet regulatory aspects of the role, including disclosure, costs of services provided, and advised products.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of AFH Financial Group's strategy and core values.
  • Represent the AFH brand in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Develop and maintain good client relationships, supporting the overall team approach ethos.
  • Identify new business opportunities and refer them to relevant advisers within the team.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, QCA Level 4 (or FCA approved equivalent) as a minimum qualification and to maintain certified status in accordance with the FCA regulations.
  • Ability and experience conducting ongoing reviews, spotting opportunities to positively enhance clients' situations, and gaining buy-in from clients.
  • Demonstrate a client-centric approach, displaying excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, and professionalism.
  • Well-presented, articulate, and dedicated to doing the right thing for clients, with excellent IT skills and embracive of new virtual/digital ways to communicate with clients.
