Position Overview

Role Summary

This is a full-time, hybrid position for a BIM Specialist at ARC:MC Limited. The role involves engaging in various BIM tasks to address coordination challenges within the 3D modeling environment, which includes the creation of integrated models. Key responsibilities encompass managing changes throughout the planning, design, delivery, and maintenance phases of as-built assets. This includes evaluating models and generating project clash reports, as well as facilitating coordination meetings to address issues identified in these reports. The BIM Specialist will report directly to the Division Director or BIM Manager and will adhere to company standards to ensure that all deliverables comply with ISO 9001, 14001, and 19650, as well as any project-specific BEP provided by the BIM management team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in BIM Coordination and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Background in Architecture and Project Management
  • Significant experience in the development of information models for data centers is essential
  • Understanding of Asset Information Management and COBie
  • Experience in creating Revit families
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with Common Data Environment and associated workflows
  • Proficient in Autodesk 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
