Join Our Estimating Team

We are seeking a talented Graduate Estimator to join our London-based team at Bennett Construction. As a Graduate Estimator, you will play a crucial role in producing detailed and competitive tender submissions, working closely with our experienced Estimating Team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Submission Preparation: Assist in compiling submissions of inclusions, exclusions, clarifications, and program of works, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Project Liaison: Liaise and report to senior management on ongoing project submissions, providing timely updates and insights.
  3. Supply Chain Management: Research and source best-in-class subcontractors and suppliers, evaluating quotations and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  4. Risk Assessment: Assess financial, technical, and operational risks associated with projects, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  5. Estimating and Site Meetings: Attend Estimating and Site meetings, contributing to the development of project estimates and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  2. Construction work experience, either on-site or in a consultancy practice.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  4. A basic understanding of Cost X software.
  5. Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills.
  6. The ability to work as part of a team and independently, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
