The selected Lead Business Analyst will possess robust skills in RAID management, requirements elicitation processes, and familiarity with JIRA/Confluence, ideally with some experience in Azure DevOps environments.

This role presents an exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will be involved in modernization efforts as the organization transitions to a cloud-first infrastructure within a scaled Agile framework. The organization offers a competitive salary package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing discovery analysis to assess the challenges or opportunities within the competitive landscape, business process architecture, and existing IT and data solutions.
  • Facilitating informed business decisions through the identification and assessment of potential solution alternatives.
  • Identifying and managing stakeholders to encompass a diverse range of perspectives and enhance the change journey with effective communication and thorough planning.
  • Gathering, analyzing, specifying, validating, and verifying business requirements for the chosen solution, addressing both functional and non-functional aspects. This may involve creating various artifacts such as Journey models, Use Case diagrams, and Business Process models (utilizing BPMN notation) to provide clarity and context for both business and technical teams.
  • Ensuring requirements traceability aligns with the change initiative, tracking from desired business outcomes through to requirements, software development, and acceptance testing.
  • Supporting defined changes through to realization of benefits, including project change evaluation and implementation; identifying, specifying, and mitigating RAID, as well as resolving defects arising from testing where relevant to service definition and implementation support.

Essential Skills:

  • Prior experience as a Lead Business Analyst within the Financial Services sector is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in articulating customer journeys, process modeling, data modeling, test defect triage, stakeholder management, and traceability matrices is crucial.
  • Experience with on-premises to cloud transformation initiatives is essential.
  • Demonstrable skills in requirements elicitation, RAID identification, and engaging with senior stakeholders are vital.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications such as IIBA's CBAP or BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis are advantageous.
