At Teaching Personnel, we present a rewarding opportunity to support young learners in need of intervention in the Nottingham area. This position is particularly suited for individuals who have previously engaged with SEN students as educators, teaching assistants, or through tutoring roles.

Key Responsibilities of the Intervention Tutor:

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging educational sessions tailored to the individual needs of each child, enhancing their understanding of essential subjects.
  • Provide face-to-face support to children with Special Educational Needs, which may include those with ASD, SEMH, or PMLD, in various settings such as their homes or community spaces.
  • Monitor student progress and strategize future learning steps.
  • Motivate children to reach their potential and maintain their engagement in the learning process.
  • Implement effective behavior management techniques to ensure focus and productivity during sessions.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Proven experience working with children who have special educational needs.
  • Capability to plan and execute engaging learning experiences based on individual learner requirements.
  • Ability to establish and apply effective behavior management strategies.
  • Skills to enhance children's confidence in their learning journey.
  • Proficient in tracking progress and planning subsequent educational objectives.
