Workscoping Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Workscoping Engineer to join our team at Expleo. As a Workscoping Engineer, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive work-scoping plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Work-Scoping Planning: Conduct detailed reviews of engine maintenance records, inspection findings, and customer requirements to develop comprehensive work-scoping plans.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure accurate and efficient work-scoping processes.
• Technical Documentation: Evaluate technical documentation, including service bulletins, engineering orders, and OEM manuals, to determine applicable work instructions and procedures.
• Analysis and Assessment: Perform analysis and assessments to identify repair, modification, and replacement requirements for engine components.
• Work Instruction Development: Prepare work instructions, task cards, and job orders that clearly define the scope of work, inspection criteria, and quality standards.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and inspectors during the execution of work-scoping activities.
• Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company procedures throughout the work-scoping process.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workscoping methodologies, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Skills: Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (e.g. FAA, EASA, OEM requirements), excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience: Proven experience in aerospace engineering, specifically in engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations, and strong understanding of aero engine systems, components, and performance characteristics.
