Saftronics Limited is seeking dedicated Field Service Technicians to enhance our Site Services team. This role is essential for the installation, delivery, and upkeep of our advanced products across various sectors in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include:

  • Executing control, instrumentation, and electrical tasks, including the commissioning and troubleshooting of new and existing Motor Control Centres (MCCs), industrial instrumentation, analyzers, motors, actuators, and other equipment utilized in automated control systems.
  • Conducting inspections, testing, and generating quality documentation.
  • Carrying out commissioning activities for Low Voltage (LV) Electrical systems, Instrumentation, and Control Systems, including MCCs and related field equipment.
  • Ensuring all drawings, test records, and telemetry schedules are accurately updated and communicated to project teams.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Project Managers, Site Managers/Teams, Health and Safety Advisors, Support Services, Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractors.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in an Electrical Engineering role.
  • Proficiency in the installation and commissioning of telemetry systems.
  • A solid background in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Electrical regulations, equipment, installation, and verification processes.
  • A collaborative mindset with a flexible approach to work.
