Primary School Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class Teacher to join our team at Aspire People to work in a Year 1 class in Shropshire. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching young learners and a solid understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Year 1 students.
- Follow the existing curriculum and schemes of work, ensuring continuity and progression in learning.
- Collaborate with the Year 1 teaching team to plan engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and record observations in line with school policies.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports the development of each child.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning community.
- Uphold the school's values and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in meetings, events, and professional development activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (ideally Year 1)
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- The ability to plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students
- Effective assessment and record-keeping skills to track student progress
