Community CAMHS Eating Disorders Consultant Psychiatrist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community CAMHS team in Waltham Forest. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to the team, working directly with children and young people and their families, and participating in the on-call rota.
About the Role
The Community CAMHS team provides care to children and young people with mental health needs across Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Havering, and Barking & Dagenham. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with children and young people and their families
- Participate in the on-call rota
- Support your peers and team leader
- Work collaboratively with other health and social professionals and agencies
Person Specification
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- CCT or equivalent
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
- Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
